By Jen Carpenter - Dice.com today launched Dice Learning, a search engine that integrates job search with training and certification suggestions. The site serves as a “one stop shop for tech pros.”
The site allows users searching for a job to easily see what training or certifications are required for that position. Dice users can access information on more than 62,000 courses from about 25 different learning providers. Users can then sign up for and take that course through Dice Learning, as well as have access to a myriad of other interactive features.

By Vanessa Dennis and Jen Carpenter - What’s the difference between an on-campus job cleaning crappers in the dorms and an internship at the White House? For starters, the first one pays and the second doesn’t.
Our list of elite internships covers a range of industries so you can find something that suites you. By Joel Cheesman - Drill Sergeant Chad must’ve forgotten to take his meds before our podcast this week, following up the SHRM conference. Either that, or the coffee was particularly strong that morning.
Not happy with Monster.com’s apparently feeble attempt to keep America working by issuing complementary job postings at the show, Chad said, “[Monster's promo] was the biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard. If Monster really cared, they would have changed their damned business model a long time ago and they wouldn’t have been shedding 150 people yesterday.”
We also get around to things like Twitter’s impact on jobs, the cesspool of duplicate job content on the Web and an update on Jobfox CEO Rob McGovern’s condition after a brutal car accident. It’s good to be back.

By Jen Carpenter - We’ve all seen those bright yellow silicone bracelets that were made famous by Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong movement. Well today people often wear different colored bracelets to support various causes, and the newest cause may be finding a job.
With that in mind, two Florida women started LaidOffNeedAJob.com. The site sells yellow and pink wristbands that simply say “Laid Off Need A Job” or “I Need A Job.” The bracelets are a great way for unemployed workers to brand themselves in a unique fashion.
