Heard of Google’s gmail? If not, you will soon enough.

Since its inception last year, millions of people have signed-up for the new e-mail service, which is currently invite-only. It’s generally unique in that it gives users almost unlimited space to keep their e-mail messages and makes them searchable. Instead of a folder system like Yahoo! or MSN’s Hotmail, users can access  messages search engine-style.

Additionally, Google AdWords are served based on the content of the message. So, if I write someone an e-mail about my trip to San Francisco, chances are
they’ll be served ads pertaining to travel and San Fran.

For employers, this is where the Internet recruiting strategy gets interesting: Millions of people are signed-up for a variety of e-mail alerts from a wide array of job boards. By using Google AdWords, you can be sure to show-up in these job alert e-mails everyday.

Looking for sales people? Why not buy the keyphrase "sales and Monster"? That way, when someone using Gmail gets their daily job alert from Monster, there you’ll be. No advertising on Monster required.
