Doubtful it’ll go down exactly like that, but my crystal ball hasn’t been working too well lately.
The most important development I see is the upcoming battle between Google and the various outlets for news.
Topix.net was recently purchased by three huge news properties as a reaction to Google News, so a battle is certainly in the offing.
