There’s apparently a story in today’s Wall Street Journal about corporations hiring bloggers to enhance PR and marketing initiatives. The blurb I received read:

Although blogging frequently is regarded as a leisurely avocation, many businesses are adding blogs to their public relations arsenal, and hiring staff bloggers to write and edit them.

Obviously, I’m a big fan of blogs and find this news item – in the WSJ of all places – very encouraging.

I hope as companies add bloggers to the corporate landscape, they add online recruitment blogging to the job descriptions.
