I love it!

It’s one thing for a chucklehead like me to talk about search engine optimizaton (SEO) and how it pertains to online recruitment, but when an industry staple like John Sumser acknowledges it, then I know it just might have a real future.

Checkout a recent article on driving traffic.

In it, Sumser talks about driving Web traffic, saying:

There
are several avenues for traffic development that depend on your goals.
The easiest place to start is Search Engine Optimization (the process
of making your web materials accessible to the audience you desire).

Sumser is always quick to point out that there are many ways to drive traffic to online job postings - and that SEO should be one part of that - but just knowing he is a fan of SEO being a weapon in every recruiter’s arsenal is gratifying.
