So, you’re all set to buy a dot-jobs domain, huh? Well, technically, the period the process is in right now is what’s called a sunrise period or pre-registration period.

When will .jobs be available for registration?
ICANN has approved .jobs in April 2005. SHRM has suggested a timeline of September 2005 for expected registration availability.

How can I register a .jobs domain name?
Registrations
will be available through registrars. However, there will be
qualification requirements for the applicants before registration is
completed. Details of the application process are not yet available.
