The love affair between Google and Firefox continues. Anyone else notice the "New! Google Toolbar for Firefox" text on Google’s homepage currently?

It’s no small feat to reside on homepage real estate at Google. They are very selective with that page’s content, always aware of keeping it simple.

But with Microsoft Longhorn coming soon to a desktop near you, it’s becoming more and more evident that Google will align its forces with Firefox’ 64 million-and-counting members to combat Microsoft’s next generation Internet browser.

By the way, if you’re not using Firefox, you should. It is far superior to Internet Explorer.
