For those in the search engine optimization and marketing space, the Search Engine Strategies Conference in San Jose is the mecca of annual events. It showcases the latest in everything search. All the major players are there, as well as all the wannabes.
Due to a scheduling conflict, I can’t make it this year. However, I’ll be watching closely.

On the heels of some attention-drawing announcements by Yahoo! and MSN lately, don’t be surprised to see Google pull something out of their hat that might trump any recent advancements by the other major search players.
