Very interesting stuff. It briefly discusses how Al Qaeda is using the Internet to recruit. I’m sure there’s a general recruiting lesson in there somewhere, but I’ll let the movie speak for itself.

It fascinates me that Al Qaeda utilizes the Web so successfully as a propaganda tool. When the war on terror began, I said to myself that if you want to defeat terrorism, liberate the minds of the world.

No medium in human history makes information and communication from such a wide variety of sources as accessible as the Web, which is exactly why I’m so amazed that terrorists use it so effectively.

I’m by no means an expert on this stuff, but I hope allied forces are doing everything they can to make our point-of-view and our commerce leaders available in the middle east, in a language they understand.

In the war on terror, it seems to me that Google and Gates should be as intricate as guns and grenades.
