ha! i was an espan user way back when and watched it’s evolution and demise. small world.
well, i’d argue that simplyhired’s 91 cent bid might mean that cpc is one of their most reasonable advertising options BUT it doesn’t mean that it’s cost effective, profitable or reasonable for your readers.
isn’t it vc money? when it’s not your money it makes sense to do a lot of things you wouldn’t do with your own money.
and no, i’m not envious.
