While the industry (me included) anxiously awaits the launching of vertical job search on Google, sites like Indeed.com are already taking the bull by the horns and making things happen.

Checkout Amazon’s A9 search. Note the drop-down menu ("More Choices") with Indeed vertical job search as an option. Hopefully the drop-down option is only temporary, and they’ll move into the main search soon.

This is in addition to the similar partnerships Indeed has done with other second-tier search players Info.com and Clusty.com.

People are always asking me what Google’s vertical job search might look like. I can only make educated guesses. However, a look into A9 – which is no Bush League search engine – may give some answers.
