Yes sure companies can post their jobs for free directly on Google Base, but you forget that Careerbuilder has 17-20 million visitors per month that Employers have exposure to. It’s not like Careerbuilder is claiming that $389 is the cost because the jobs are being fed to Base. Automatic posting to the site is value add. And Careerbuilder postings get priority on Google Base.
