It’s intriguing to watch Google Base start to take shape.

Obviously, a major part of getting the project up-and-running is the addition of content.

To help that process along, Google is currently running pay-per-click ads (granted, they probably get to advertise on their own site for free, but you get the idea).

Here’s one I found, running right now, while doing a variety of classified-related searches:
