It means that all of your clients are now your bosses. And it means that all of your friends assume that your work day consists of rolling out of bed around 11a, walking to the mailbox to pick up huge stacks of big checks, watching a couple of soap operas, then calling it a day. Not only is that ridiculous, I wouldn't wish that type of tedious existence upon my worst enemies. Being your own boss doesn’t mean that you don’t have a boss. It means that all of your clients are now your bosses.
