Welcome to the new home of my blog. If you’re a regular, this is your new destination. Also, I highly encourage you to sign-up for a new RSS feed.
I apologize for the move, but it had to be done for a few reasons:
- Using Typepad greatly hinders my flexibility, because everything resides on their server.
- Cheezhead.com is easier to remember than cheesman.typepad.com/seo (or a few of the other options out there).
- This is less expensive.
However, the primary reason lies in the fact that my blog has become so much more than I expected. When I launched HRSEO a little over a year ago, the blog was little more than an experiment, something for fun. I had a few things I wanted to get off my chest, so why not? Why not join the party?
In the course of blogging over the last year, it has unexpectedly become the centerpiece of my professional existence, leading to far more opportunities and connections than my corporate site ever could. As a result, I’ve decided to reload under a new brand, URL and design.
Yeah, I know it’s change, which comes with its own unique criticisms, but it’s worth it. There will be some growing pains. There always are. I appreciate your patience and hope for acceptance.
That said, I’m extremely excited about taking my blog to a new level, and hope to see more and more bloggers in the recruiting space follow suit. Blogs are Brand You on steroids, and deserve such attention.
In closing, I invite you to set-up a link from your blog or Web site to my new URL. Feel free to use whatever label you want, but “cheezhead” would be keeping it simple.
And if you do set-up a link to cheezhead, feel free to contact me at joel@cheezhead.com and let me know. I’ll send you a little something nice for your efforts.

Smart move, Master Cheez (aka Cheezhead, aka Joey Cheese). It looks good and I heartily agree that you should have your own URL rather than a dot typepad.com.

Bigcheese- nice graphics, nice clean site; but let’s see if we can find you a little java mouse that brings a block of cheese across the screen and deposits it near your face when opening the page.

Like the new site Joel; all good things come to an end! Long live Typepad, we may not have been here otherwise.
