For whatever reason, some of the links below may not work, but they are the correct URLs.

I was at Toronto’s Top 100 Employers event earlier this week. Between dinner with Jason Davis, discussing blogging with a Kennedy and the mayor of Toronto, inbetween session yoga and learning aboutCanada’s newest vertical job search engine, it was quite a happening.

Kudos to Tony Meehan and his hard-working group of Canucks for putting on a memorable, professional conference.

I even found some time to speak at the event. Checkout the speech that inspired two Monster employees to get their displeasure with me off their chests at the post-show reception (27 mins.):

P.S. Waiting for the flight to go home, I took Newsweek’s How Geeky Are You? quiz and scored in the top tier of geeky. Not sure how I feel about that.

It’s tough to follow a Kennedy, for sure, but you did a great job. Since my return to the office, I’ve ‘pushed you’ into my personalized google desktop, posted two positions to the base.google.com (which I didn’t even know about before your talk) and - according to the survey, found out I’m well on my way to geekdom…(what’s wrong with meeting your guild at 2AM anyways?)
