Job postings can be informative and fun insights into the direction of a company.
EmploymentGuide.com, part of Trader Publishing Company, doesn’t get a lot of ink, but they’re a pretty large player on a national scale among the job board providers, specifically for part time and hourly workers. Currently, they have a job posting promoting a position supporting “EmploymentGuide and Jobalot.com.”
Well, strangely enough, they’re the same site: EmploymentGuide.com and Jobalot.com. Looks like EG’s changing direction. A new name with the same site sorta gives that away.
The group also launched CareersInGear.com earlier this month, and if memory serves correctly, they partnered with Indeed not too long ago. Keep your eye on these cats, who are clearly trying to make sense of the ever-changing world of Internet recruitment.

quite true…that bit about company’s plans being transparently obvious in the jobs they advertise, and also what are the locations they are moving to !

I tried to keep my eye on these cats, who are clearly trying to make sense of the ever-changing world of Internet recruitment, but all I could find was 100s of jobs for my local 7 eleven :(
At 7-Eleven, we’re always on…on target with consumer trends, on track with training and career advancement options, on the cutting edge of retail technology. This is big-time, fast-paced, high-tech, hands-on retail…a world-wide, information-enabled, people-driven customer service machine… and we’re turned on 24/7.
-> They do make it sound like a pretty hot job though.

I’m currently looking for a job, but after using their site I’ve decided to remain homeless. The only thing that could make me want to use Job a Lot is if they had some sort of midi file that played some tunes while I looked for employment.
