yahoo! follows google’s lead into vertical creep with travel … is job search far behind?

Yahoo! now enables users to search a variety of pricing options and sites when looking for flights or hotels. Checkout a search for “flights to new york.” Google has a similar solution which was introduced months ago. Find out more about Y!’s move via their blog.

Wonder how long it’ll take them to integrate similar functionality for job searches with HotJobs (and spidered) content, a la Google Base? Does MSN or Ask have a similar strategy?
