Okay feel free to ban me for the multiple posts but here is the actual response from Craigslist in the link I reference above:

***
yeah you would think 08/07 18:37:25

>That's amazing to me they readily advertise
>this service when they have no partnership with
>craigslist.

Yes, it's truly amazing that some people have no shame. Charging to use a free service and trying to seem like they are in a partnership with Craigslist is shameful. Jobster, Oodle and other aggregating sites are the parasites of the internet and should be put out of business, if not sent to jail.

Don't get me started on the really illegal stuff: spammers, scammers, software pirates, russian brides, realestate "moguls", and the rest of the craigslist rogues gallery. We have our hands full.

Obligatory Legal Disclaimer: This is my own personal opinion, and in no way represents Craig, Jim or anyone else, etc.

Hello...first my apologies for the confusing comments...to clear up my Craigslist questions what I was asking about is if Jobster can infact repost jobs to Craigslist. This is in reference to their 'direct post' feature they are heavily advertising.

As I understand it this practice is not permitted according to craigslist Terms of Service. So what I was trying to get at was does Jobster have some partnership agreement which would allow them to bypass the craigslst Terms of Service?

So being the curious person I am I went ahead and posted a few threads on the Craigslist forums trying to get a straight answer on whether or not this so called 'direct post' jobster is advertising is legit...this tread from craigslist is the best answer I have received.

http://forums.craigslist.org/?ID=47286965

In reading that it appears that what Jobster is doing is not approved by Craigslist...which is amazing to me as Jobster is so readily advertising this service.

Anyway hope that clears this up.

Yeah I have the same question as Paul. How is Jobster able to do this with Craigslist? With the research I have done this type of redirect of job posts to a site OTHER than the direct employer is specifically against Craigslist regulations. What gives?

Just wondering will Craigslist allow the rest of us the same priveledge. At the moment, I would have to hand-add individual job postings. When I asked on their "help forum" I was simply called a spammer by users....

About time someone did this, we were offering this to UK job boards about 5 years ago but they did not want to play!

You have to no doubt buy a Jobster package first though to get this.

Joel, you're definitely a half-full glass optimist this time. Yes, that's why we'd like to think Jobster included the metrics (and there are a number of Jobster clients who do think proactively about metrics), but I fear an even bigger motivation was all their clients paranoid about OFCCP compliance.

You gotta love this! By revealing this tracking data to its clients, Jobster is helping to speed up the adoption of analytics into the hiring process. Let’s face it. Metrics in hiring, on the part of direct employers, is generally less than ideal. Kudos to Jobster for bringing a little math into the conversation.
