Google is full of wonderful services. For the most part, they go unnoticed. I’d like to change that to the extent one guy might. If I can make one person’s life a little easier, then it’s worth a blog post.

SMS. Google’s SMS, or text message service, is an awesome way to find everything from the address and phone number of your sales meeting to the nearest pizza joint. You can also get sports scores, stock quotes, movie times … just about anything you can think of when you’re out-and-about. Try it.

When you’re not near a computer, a WiFi connection or turning to your phone’s Web browser isn’t an option, rely on Google SMS for quick, reliable answers. Now, if they’d only add Base content to find jobs via your mobile. Oh, I’m sure it’s right around the corner.
