If you’re not leveraging your Web site to harness the power of social networks and communities - a la “Web 2.0″ - it may be time to consider jumping on the bandwagon before you’re the only one not along for the ride.

One of the e-mail service providers I use is Constant Contact. Now, I wouldn’t automatically consider them to be a good place to start a community, but then I received the following e-mail promotion today:

Yeah, OK, it makes sense. I’m sure a good number of Constant Contact’s users have a lot to offer and get from a community dedicated to e-mail marketing. I’ll be interested to see how it goes.
