A Jobster client forwarded the following e-mail last night:

We regret to inform you that we have temporarily suspended all job posts to Craigslist through the Jobster Direct Post feature while we ensure that we are in compliance with Craiglist’s posting policies and procedures. This suspension applies to both active and future postings.

The situation is actively being addressed and we should have this service available within the next five business days.

During this time, your postings to Google Base and America’s Job Bank will remain unaffected.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We will notify you as soon as we complete our compliance testing.

Thank you,

According to company head Jason Goldberg, it “Seems to be a misunderstanding which we are working out.”

Most likely, this is just a temporary blip as opposed something deeper and more sinister. But we’ll keep our eye on it just the same.
