He probably didn’t mean it, because controversy is good for driving traffic to your website. I’ve used controversial tactics such as bashing President Bush or even posting a fake job postings that say “Seeking Rare Breed Knockout women for web designers.” Controversial tactics such as these are great for an upsurge in traffic.
Just look at the movie Jack Ass 2 that is coming out. Kids will flock to those movie theaters that are showing it. Responsible adults will flock to that small theater in California who is banning the movie from being shown in his theater. Controversial movie, controversial move by a theater owner; result is increased ticket sales.
