Yo! Click here to get my blog posts by e-mail.

Everyone I know uses e-mail. However, only about half those even know what RSS is, let alone actually take advantage of it.

John Sumser is good for traffic. It’s been sorta called The Sumser Effect. Whenever you or your company get a mention in Sumser’s Daily, traffic follows, irregardless of positive or negative commentary.

How? Although I know a good number of people visit his site, I think a larger number of readers access him via e-mail. RSS? Not so much.

John is admittedly old school and the bulk of, oh, just about everyone else is too, having a far greater level of comfort with e-mail than RSS.

In light of that, there’s a cool service that lets users receive content from their favorite blogs via e-mail called RMail.

It’s great. You don’t even have to register. Just add your favorite blog URL(s), subscribe and confirm your e-mail address. That’s it. Then, as those blogs are updated, you’ll get them by e-mail.

Not comfortable with RSS? Prefer getting it Sumser-style? Click here to get Cheezhead dropped in your e-mail inbox today.

Another reason for “the Sumser effect” is that Interbiznet shows up in Google News … :-)
