It is always entertaining to see other people's perspectives on Google. Getting the information correct is important and as a representative of Google I feel obligated to do just that. Stating we have no customer support, don't provide any account building assistance, nor provide metrics, are all incorrect. We provide all three. Although we have budget (not spend) minimums to utilize specific channels at Google, anyone can register for an account with Google via our online channel. Important to keep the facts straight and not mislead recruiters and other HR professional with incorrect information.

this blog has become so lame as of late. when you are not chearleading for google as most of the bloggers are doing then your analysis is just lame --- for example, the analysis of the yahoo-newspaper deal was superficial at best. given that you cover one of the key components of that deal (hotjobs) i was hoping for something deeper and more insightful. whether you got good things or bad things to say --- say something!

Great play for Google, wish I would have thought of it....oh yeah I did. Anyway couple things to consider. Google has no customer support, google won't do the work for you nor provide metrics for you, if google doesn't work where do you go, and last but not least. You have to spend at lease $5000.00 month just to get an account rep. Okay I lied this is the last one they are a pay per click company....not pay for performance and my last keywords...click fraud.
