Articles

Content, content, content! I just can’t get enough!

The success of HRSEO has created a need for freelance copywriters. If you’re an avid writer in need of a little extra cash - or know someone who fits this description - please consider applying or sending them my way.

This is a contract position, so you won’t be considered an employee. You do the assignments. You get paid. That’s it.

Here are the specifics:

  • Depending on the amount of work available, you will submit anywhere from 1-10 articles each month.
  • Each article submitted will be 300-500 words long (about a page in length and 1-2 hrs. of your time)
  • Each article received and approved will receive an immediate payment of $10 (USD). So, 10 articles would receive $100.
  • Articles will be employment-related.
  • Topics and assignments will be sent out by me on a regular basis to selected writers. Probably weekly.
  • There won’t be strict deadlines or demands on work getting done in an immediate fashion. However, the most energized and competent writers will be rewarded with more assignments.
  • You can be anywhere in the world, but must be proficient in English.
  • You must be proficient in use of the Internet. You know, e-mail address, attaching files to e-mails. No HTML needed.
  • You must have a PayPal account.

To be considered:

  • Sell yourself. Ideally, you’ll have some sort of resume, a Web presence (blog, MySpace, etc.) and writing samples (three’s enough)
  • Please apply to me at copywriter[at]hrseo.com.

Again, I think this is a great opportunity for anyone who loves to write and is looking to make a little extra spending cash. College students specializing in journalism are strongly encouraged to consider applying, but anyone with a penchant for the written word is welcome.

I’m not looking for the next Hemingway, by the way. I’m looking for those with good attitudes who are proficient in making Web content, and building relationships with energetic, creative and smart people.

Another added bonus: Over time, you should obtain a respectable level of knowledge in how search engine optimization and marketing works, if you so desire, which could lead to a variety of opportunities and skills to add to your portfolio.

Again, apply or forward questions to copywriter[at]hrseo.com.
