john edwards is running for president, ya’ll

In what is sure to be a growing trend in politics - as well as being incredibly viral - John Edwards (D) has announced his intentions to run for president of the US via YouTube:

I’m a proud Republican (although I hate The War and the blocking of stem cell research), but regardless of party affiliation, it’s good to see a candidate embrace technology, a la Howard Dean (Wooo!) in ‘04.

Hopefully someone who knows what Google is will be our next prez.
