I’m humbled and honored to be chosen as this year’s recipient of Recruiting.com’s Best Blog. Granted, no one’s curing cancer here, but it’s always nice to be recognized by your peers.
And although I failed to spam my way to, er, I mean get the most votes, I’m pleased the judges saw fit to reward my work from the past year. Thank you.

Me being “humbled and honored.”

Good job, Joel and very well deserved! I wish you the very best as you continue to show the rest of us how it should be done.
Happy New Year, man, and a prosperous one too.

Joel,
I have no idea who first said “it’s not the what, it’s the how” but whoever it was they had it right. The well deserved success and wide readership you have is driven not so much by the “what” although none of us would be reading it if the subject was not of interest, but what really makes the difference is the “how”. Insight and analysis based on industry specific expertise often delivered with a cool sense of humor and an ego that remains in check. Nice combination of attributes and nice to see it recognized.

Congratulations Joel!
Look forward to seeing where you take your business in 07′. Maybe Monster will try to buy you out or you will do a JV with Jobster??
