They need to do something. NY Times Company posted a $648 Million loss for the fourth quarter of 2006. I’m sure they’re looking to work with Monster (currently working through some difficulties of its own) to post some gains this year. But Doron’s right. With no empirical evidence to support it, I’d say that most professionals read the Times and the Globe online. I buy newspaper when I spill oil in my garage.
