Having been a job seeker, I would never feel satisfied with that site, layout, and content- regardless of the Google checkout! As a job seeker, what are you purchasing anyway? Isn't that for employers- and if an employer is going to spend money on a site, isn't personal customer service the best way to go? In this industry where there are hundreds of lame sites, this one with Google Checkout seems like jsut another basement creation. Yuck, baby-powder blue.

Being from near Minneapolis, I would have to say the Checkout ad is more relevant. Having written that, if I were from elsewhere in MN or wanting to re-locate to MN, the other ad would entice me to click sooner.

Thus, illustrating that marketing (and sales) depends on the target audience. There is never a single solution for everyone.

Hey Joel, for me, I would visit Minnesotajobs.com first. Not because of the Checkout but but because MinnesotaJobs.com is a much better domain name than the other one. The site itself might not be though.
