I was initially inclined to write a lengthy diatribe on the event that was Jobster vs. Cheezhead. Upon further review, however, I’m over it. Time (and money) will be the ultimate judge on Jobster and its leader … not some conference sideshow.

It’s a different ball game face to face… You let him off the hook!

Joel… One of your comments was right on the money. JGo learned a LOT about controlling and spin while he was working for Clinton (as an aside, one wonders what his actual ‘job’ was - perhaps interning as Monica did, hopefully without use of cigars, etc.)
No doubt that he timed your invitation to the stage to give VERY limited time to Q&A. He also did a good job of telling the audience that you were full of bull on every topic without saying the word “bullshit.”
My suggestion would be that next time, you take some pointers from Animal and his radio show and talk over JGo incessantly if he dares reframe the premise. ;-)

You were the best part of that presentation Joel ~ it was a pleasure “meeting” you and I will be a regular visitor on your blog!

Huh! Very very intesting. You asked some great questions. But I agree with Carl, to some extent. . You did a little bit of letting off the hook. This exchange wasn’t WWF / WWE. You got shorted in time and in intensity, but in the end…. I think I agree also with Geoff. You did a bit to let him off the hook.
Good Work, Good follow up. GREAT questions.

I hope Jason does not end up like Bill having to admit to something he constantly denied.

Oh dear Recruiter Bob, you appear to be completely missing the point. Time to move on…
