If you prefer your weekly online recruitment podcasts with a soothing English accent and angle, checkout Broadcasting Online Recruitment News, or born.
The born podcast compliments the many excellent news sites and blogs available on the Internet today, said presenter Julian Stopps. Online recruitment is one of the most exciting sectors around and it’s great to watch the industry grow and evolve.
If you’re a junkie like me, most of the updates won’t be breaking news. However, for those of you in the cheap seats, the podcasts offer a convenient Cliffs Notes of what’s happening. Listen via their site, your iPod or get the feed.
The podcasts I heard were ad-free (or is that advert-free, since this is about a UK site?). The only interruptions are done by a sultry English bird, echoing “born, born, born … .” I’m guessing revenue is primarily driven by the site’s banner advertising.

I believe Her Majesty would call it ‘free of advertisements’.

Shush, anonymous, I really like the podcasts. I found them thanks to Cheezhead and will be listening eagerly to hear about many exciting UK job site and online recruitment news. At last a source of UK information (to be honest, many of the UK recruitment blogs do not give away much information, or am I reading the wrong ones? – If you have any good addresses, I will be glad to subscribe to their RSS feeds ;-)
Anyway, thumbs up for this source of information and I’m a big fan of the British accent.
