onrec’s david hurst dislikes social networking

I assumed Onrec’s main man, David Hurst, would want to answer something like, “How’d the show go?” I was wrong. He wanted to share his distaste for social networking sites like Facebook. Enjoy:

Yeah, go ahead and say David can filter that stuff out in his preferences, but I don’t think it’ll matter. At first I thought the grumpy nature might just be an English thing. But then I thought about the Geico Gecko. He’s a Brit and seems quite pleasant.

    I thought I was grumpy!

Whether he likes social networks or not is relevant how?

It might just be Joel’s camera skills but David looks hammered at the start of that video.

I have to agree with him. Too much useless information coming at you like a tidal wave every minute of the day is not good. Honestly, I don’t care either what every single person I know did last weekend. Most people I only want to know about at a very shallow level. If any truly interest me, I opt for the old fashioned courtship of friendship not the cold spying on their activities on the internet.

Once apon a time people hated the internet….now look. Social networking sites are no different.
