Aside from apparently having enough time on his hands to manage his own blog, under his own name, reliable sources are telling me Jason Goldberg’s tenure as Jobster’s CEO is coming to a close.
Goldberg’s reply to the rumor?
Hey Joel. Always some sort of buzz around Jobster. Christian [communications contact] can/will respond.
Says a lot … more is sure to follow.
Update: Jobster PR reply: “Sounds like just that, a rumor. Rumors like this have popped up here and there since January. What we know is Jobster’s 2007 strategy is humming. Revenues are up more than 60% with Jason as our CEO.”

Usually Jason is pretty quick to follow up posts like this….hmmm, maybe the cat has his tongue.

“Revenues are up 60% with Jason as the CEO.” Hasn’t he always been the CEO? What does that mean? If they did $20 million last year (per Jason), does that mean they are doing $32 million this year. I’m used to non answers from PR flacks, but this one doesn’t even rise to that level.

Revenues are up 60% because they have lost more than half of there sales force!!! These are definetly not the smartest guys in the room

sigh. joel, why even post about these guys anymore? no one cares about them. any time you feel the need to post anything related to jobster, just place a job posting or an ad up in its place…
