I listened to that audio, and I hear nothing about interstitial ads. I heard him say something about getting rid of “pop up” ads. Perhaps I missed it?

For anyone who remembers that day and that call (800 layoffs) came away with the belief that Monster was serious about getting rid of the interstitial ads and focusing on the job seeker experience. My audio may not have caught that specific point, but there is no doubt.
