new facebook app: jobster’s ‘work me’

Seems Jobster likes Facebook apps so much, they just created a new one. This gem is called “Work Me.”

According to the description, “Hire your friends to do any job! Pay them. Give them raises when they’re good. Fire them when they stink! Compete and see who earns the most amongst your friends.”

What does this mean? According to Google, “This warning message appears with search results we’ve identified as sites that may install malicious software on your computer.”
Users even have to go through a warning page before getting to ERE.

edgeio sells for meager $280,000

Like many in the online classifieds space, I watched the recent auction of Edgeio with great curiosity. The bidding ended today with Looksmart acquiring “most” of the assets for only $280,000. There were just two serious bidders in the process.
