As reported by PEhub, there are 20 million new reasons for Jobfox to smile today. With this round the company has raised around $40 million to date.
Barry Lawrence said the new capital will be used to open six new sales offices, in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Dallas and Houston. Jobfox already has a presence in Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco and Washington DC. They may consider some international expansion, and soon will announce that it has signed a co-branding deal with an Australian company.

Does it seem a little risky to bet 40 million bucks ++ on a technology that requires corporate networks to continue allow the Jobfox document to send its little string home ?
I also never understood what is really actionable about knowing that my resume was read….
