Itzbig is “the technology leader in online recruiting.” Or so says American Venture Magazine in its latest edition. The Austin-based company was also awarded the distinction as a 2008 “Most Promising Startup.”

CEO Jim McGovern said, “It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by a prestigious third party, such as American Venture. Our employees have worked very hard to create a value proposition that is unique and effective in the online recruiting industry.”

On hearing the news, itzbig client Kimbia Sofware’s Gary Thompson said,

Itzbig is different in that it allows us to find high-performing employees who would otherwise not feel comfortable exploring jobs on the Internet. Itzbig is attractive to these candidates because it offers privacy, security, and anonymity as well as the ability to see exactly how they match up against the specific job opportunity.

We were using more traditional recruiting methods for hiring a developer when we decided to go with itzbig. Immediately, we found what we were looking for. There’s no reason to go back to the old way of hiring new employees.
