Granted, he’s a little like the crazy ol’ uncle portrayed in movies at holiday time, rambling on-and-on about the Nixon administration, UFOs, Jimmy Hoffa’s whereabouts and Civil War collectibles …

However, for those who feel a little less complete – me included – because John Sumser isn’t dropping the gospel on hungry disciples like he did in the days of yore, rejoice!

Heee’s baaaack. (Or at least looks like he’s on the road back.)

What is with his site? I tried visiting it and it was slow as hell that I just gave up. My cat who is sitting on my desk as I type this comment in is even yawning. If it is slow for my cat, it is excruciating for people.

Ditto. I know that John brings a wealth of experience to the table, but I sure hope that he’s not using one of those handy dandy U.S. Robotics 900 baud modems to deliver these web pages.

Full disclosure: I probably still have that modem sitting in a box someplace. When that baby came out, I felt like a speed demon. Who could ever need more bandwidth than 900 baud? :-)
