Whispers of a deal were first heard here, but recent communications seem to indicate a deal between Facebook and CareerBuilder has occurred. No official word yet, but an e-mail being passed around the recruitment ad community goes like this:

CareerBuilder.com Partners with Facebook
Very Exciting News!! CareerBuilder.com just signed an annual deal with Facebook, the second largest social network on the Web. With more than 66 million registered users, Facebook is the sixth-most trafficked website in the US and is one of the fastest-growing and best-known sites on the Internet today.

We are launching an extensive advertising campaign on Facebook over the next twelve months. CareerBuilder.com will have a very large presence through custom Facebook pages, applications, advertising and more. We will also be offering special products to our clients, such as Featured Employer spots on our pages as well as targeted media campaigns.

We are extremely excited about this partnership and look forward to the opportunities to increase traffic to CareerBuilder.com and to our clients.

Details are said to be forthcoming later this month. Although previous rumors had this deal as an exclusive, it looks more like big money is simply swapping hands. Stay tuned.
