That's a real loss for Monster. Neal was the face of Monster at the meetings of the International Association of Employment Web Sites, the industry trade association.

At times it seems at times that some job board owners are more interested in beating up on Monster than doing their best to serve their own users. During those types of discussions Neal was the calm voice of reason and frequently steered the conversation back to where it could be productive. If Monster's resume bank was being hacked, he would point out that if it could happen to Monster then it could happen to any of us so the problem wasn't Monster's as much as it was the industry's.

We will miss him yet I'm sure that my fellow job board owners will agree that we all wish him the very best wherever he ends up.
