A reliable source tells us Jobfox brought in a cool mill’ last month in revenue. This was apparently after a series of months that “got really close” to the seven-figure mark.
It’s understandable to look at such information and call it insignificant when compared to Goliaths like Monster and CareerBuilder. However, the universe of job sites that make more than $10 million annually is quite small.
And don’t forget we’re talking about a very young company here, serving only about 10 markets nationwide. Jobfox maintaining such numbers (and growing them) would put it in a pretty elite class.

I work for a staffing firm that will be asking for a refund from Jobfox. It did not deliver as promised.

Congrats to Jobfox
I have had no success using Jobfox at all. I went to the seminars in NYC and was very impressed with what they have to offer. When I posted 1 job to see what sort of results I would get, I was underimpressed with the matches I paid for. I asked a rep at Jobfox why they told me that they have just entered the NY market and I should keep looking because candidates would come. I am still waiting….. My colleague has posted his profile on jobfox as a candidate and gets matches in the middle 9.0 range. We thought that was impressive. Sadly, the only phone calls he gets is from recruitment companies that have the same exact jobs posted on monster or linkedin. We both came to the conclusion that posting as an employer or as a candidate and the liklihood of getting a response is pretty low. I think they are making their money off of a huge database and not necessarily caring about the success of actually hiring the right people for the right job.
We have given Jobfox every opportunity to come through for us because it is obviously very favored on this site but I can’t say that I have had the results I paid for. Jobfox is extremely expensive!
Chuck, please let me know if you have any success getting a refund because I may be asking for one myself.
Mr. Chief Free Officer of Smuz.com – please stop using this site as your media platform for your company. It’s getting very old.

We had excellent results from JobFox, business is a series of misses waiting for the hit, for whatever reason Jobfox did not work out for you, I would not discount them for future endeveors.

Don’t discount them from future endeavors? It seems they’re a listless firm grasping at straws and any ‘endeavor’ possible at this point.
What’s next for them? Shoe Sales?
