Multiple sources are telling us Eric Yoon, CEO and founder of NY-based Jobthread is out. Calls to confirm weren’t returned, although we did get Yoon’s voicemail, and an e-mail to him was opened but got no reply (usually such inquiries get an immediate response if false).
Further evidence is Yoon’s LinkedIn profile which indicates JobThread as past experience. Also, a page on Jobthread that once featured Yoon as CEO is now redirected. However the page is still cached in Google for the time being.
Yoon has been in the industry since 1999 when he was product manager for HotJobs (pre-Yahoo!). He also served as interactive product development manager at Bernard Hodes Group, and most recently was product manager for The New York Times Job Market.
No word to date on the future of Jason Wies, currently listed as CTO.

The JobThread platform was really unique, but I think its hard to sell job distribution on a single posting basis. They have great ideas. I hope the best for Eric and team.
