Job sites have been providing private label solutions for a long time. Doing the same with a profile-only provider is unique. But that’s exactly what VisualCV have done with The Chinese Business Network.
On the deal, VisualCV CEO, Clint Heiden said, “VisualCV fills a void for online communities and makes private-labeling a natural evolution for us. We’re proud to be able to help communities like The China Business Network create a professional, interactive forum for their members.”
According to TCBN’s CEO Janet Carmosky, the site gets between 30,000 – 50,000 visitors each month and is “extremely targeted to English-speaking people who do business in China and with China.”
The community of TCBN-branded profiles will primarily be publicly available and search engine-friendly. According to Carmosky, they “want our members to be found by the largest number of people, and to easily find and network with each other. All of us in this space need and want to spend more time getting traction in our work with the right partners – no middleman, just a browser.”
The section that won’t be public, however, is the Insight & Influence section. This is where they profile the “most accomplished of China business leaders,” and is by invitation only. Contact information will be available on a restricted basis.
The offering is currently in beta, taking sign-ups only. Click here for more in The Chinese Business Network. More information on VisualCV is here.

Where is the release about VisualCV buying favorable press on Cheezhead.com? I wonder how much that Joel charges to pump your company and libel your competition?
