Vault.com, a career-focused media company, has just announced the appointment of Ex-Monster executive Yazad Dalal, who was the former Director of International Sales Development.
Dalal will become the Vice President of Recruitment Sales and Marketing. In this newly-created role, Dalal is responsible for expanding the Vault.com job board and growing it into a new, revenue-generating business.
“I am excited to join the Vault team as it prepares to leap into the 2.0 world of online career management,” said Mr. Dalal. ”Vault’s leadership position in the career insider space is the ideal launch pad for building a recruitment business that connects elite professionals with the world’s best companies.”
“We are lucky to have Yazad joining our growing company to drive our new job board business,” said Mr. Hamadeh. ”His rich sales experience, particularly during his time at Monster, and his proven ability to build and lead a sales team will add immense value to Vault.”
In 1999, Dalal joined Monster Worldwide’s Canadian business, Monster.ca, as National Account Manager, and he spent the next four years helping to build it into Canada’s largest job board. In 2005, Dalal was appointed Director of International Sales at Monster Worldwide.

Not a big fan of the Vault.
I still have no clue what value they offer employers other than books and a very small set of eyeball traffic.
The vault still has not rudder to steer the ship and certainly no captain. This won’t help.

For very product to sell the product has to be such that it ensures customer satisfaction and results in repeat experience.
I guess that is more applicable to tech companies.I guess Vault should focus on enhancing its technical capabilities as well, along with increasing its marketing and business development bench strength.
