wow, i can’t believe there is a story focusing on something positive with Monster on your site cheezhead. even if there is a strong undertone of sarcasm. the Monster bashing is really starting to get old.

If you’re reading this as a positive post, you may want to reread it … and click on a few links while you’re at it. And Monster-bashing will never get old here … go somewhere else if you can’t stomach it.

Sometimes we need to pull our heads out of our, um, Google Readers, Cheez.
I’ve already submitted my resume 93 times, just to be sure… I’m annoying.
Nice post, Vanessa. You “sound” like Cheez. Just add more “cow bell” Oh, and don’t believe everything Cheez says about Austin…

Joel -
I enjoy your site usually and do gain knowledge from your stories, reports and other insights - but enough is enough on monster.
You are so obsessed with them you obviously won’t stop.
And that’s is too bad. Your losing respect and you can believe it not.
-love dude

If “losing respect” means forfeiting readers who sign-on anonymously as “Move on dude” and have the grammatical abilities of a 5th grader, I won’t lose any sleep.

Joel,
I understanding ur situation completely. I know ur blog is based on recruiting n U wouldn’t get the required traffic if U post a topic without involving monster.com(the #1 job portal). Obviously if not for jeff taylor’s monster.com which still holds the #1 position maintaining its reputation for bringing Internet Job portals into existence and utltimately is responsible for the birth of blogs like urs. Now U’l find a dozen ppl praising monster.com and U wouldn’t want 2 b one of them……… so U try 2 bad mouth/ bitch abt monster.com n try 2 earn some brownie points by doin so.
Guys, its his bread n butter n he can’t help bt bitch abt monster.com
bottom line……….. he is nothin without monster.com n I hope he’d realize that sumday….

Jobgrand WHO??? Not another job board.
There are so many job boards out there it will make your head spin. And everyone claims that theirs has this special thing that is going to take the recruiting world by storm lol. It is seriously ridicules. When it comes down to it they all are all pretty much the same to jobseekers! The only difference is from a jobseekers standpoint I can reach out to as many employers on Monster or CB as it would take me to do on 10 of these other random sites that keep popping up.
As much as I dislike Monster from both an inside and outside perspective I find that Monster and CB have much more content then all these other job boards who don’t realize they missed the train.
Why would I search for jobs on 10 different smaller job boards if I can have the same if I can have better results using just 1 or 2?
PS Jobgrand sells cell phones too.
