Another job board for startups, CoNotes, is threading its way through the crowd. Founder Andrew Chen said that he created the site because he was sick of digging for information about new companies after he graduated.

So what differentiates his site from competitors like Npost and Startuply?

Chen said for starters they have a recommendation engine that helps job seekers find startups that might be otherwise hidden. He said they also keep tracking of a job seeker’s recruiting process, tagging companies and jobs that they have previously applied to so the user can see their trail of breadcrumbs.

Chen added, “Now if we think about the other side of the equation, startup companies have a very difficult time getting exposure and access to the best talent. To help these startup companies, CoNotes is establishing key partnerships that will place their job opportunities in front of the most relevant audience. We are also developing additional tools that will enable startups to filter and evaluate candidates in a more efficient way.”

Unlike Startuply, CoNotes has launched a revenue model, with job postings costing $149 for 30 days. They also offer the option of featuring a company on their main page for $49.
