News

Professional networking site LinkedIn has launched a new iPhone application with most of the same features from their Web site, plus a few new ones.

iPhone users can now search and add business contacts to the new LinkedIn portal. When adding a new contact, this information can also be uploaded to your phone’s directory.

The front page news feed is reminiscent of Facebook, where you can see your contacts’ current status and any changes they have made to their profile.

To download the application, click here.

What I think would be way cool is if you shake the iPhone and it has a celebrity you’re connected to “float” to the top OR if it had the perfect job float to the top, or wait, wait….

You click a button and it fills with beer. When you hold it up to your mouth and tip it, the beer empties.

Kudos to LinkedIn for being #2 with the iphone app!
