Today on Facebook, CareerBuilder is touting the acquisition of its 5,000th friend.
CareerBuilder launched their page around March 2008, accompanied with advertising dollars and a nice chunk of buzz. If you’re scoring at home, that’s roughly 1,000 new fans per month.
The number seems a little low to us (although CareerBuilder’s VP of Consumer Marketing isn’t discouraged), but when compared to the competition - Jobing.com’s 58 fans since July and MonsterTrak’s 91 since, well, who cares? - maybe it’s not so bad.
