CareerBuilder is going one step further to become a one-stop-shop for job seekers.
They’ve just announced the launch of CBInstitute.com, an online educational resource where people can purchase courses on Microsoft Office, brush up on a foreign language, or learn how to better-manage their time.
Christian Idiodi, Director of CBInstitute, said “CBInstitute.com offers easy-to-use online courses at all levels to help employees get ahead in their current jobs or improve their skills to land the job they aspire to have. [They] also allows workers to read advice articles, exercise their brains and download job aids.”
If your company’s own learning database is still offering courses on Excel 97, this could be a good place to start entering the 21st century.
The courses begin at $49.

Wow, check out those courses. In their “technology” course list, they offer a class on typing. Very high tech, indeed!
